The work that happens while I'm gone

I get a shitload done when I'm at my desk.

Then I leave, and the work waits for me.

That's the part I want AI to change.

I have enough tools. I have commands for SEO, content, outreach, and all the other things that come with running a business. I can get a lot done with them.

But I still have to show up and decide what happens next.

So I've started thinking in roles. Someone owns search growth. Someone owns customer follow-through. Someone owns getting next week's event communications ready.

The first report came back with a lot of things checked.

It was less than satisfying.

I want the next useful piece of work finished. The newsletter built. The reply waiting in drafts. The customer problem carried as far as it can go without me.

I still want to send my own emails. I still want to decide what represents me. Those are choices I care about.

I want to stop being the person who has to remember every next step.

The smarter these tools get, the more I want to spend my time on the things that need me.

Including leaving my desk.
